Yes! Our products are safe AND gentle, and our microbes are food-grade.
How do Hyve products clean?
Our products harness the good microbes on your surfaces to prevent biofilm buildup and cut through dirt and grime that other cleaners can not. It also continues to clean long after you are finished.
How do I know Hyve products are effective?
We have procured the best ingredients to make our products effective and safe with no exceptions.
Why essential oils?
Because they do more than just smell nice! Essential oils replace toxic fumes with natural aromas that boost the mood while also being packed with antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
Is it safe to use Hyve Overtime Multi-Purpose cleaner on all surfaces?
It is safe for all sealed surfaces! If you are unsure, we recommend testing on a small spot first.
Are Hyve products environmentally friendly?
Environmental besties is more like it! Our ingredients do not just think about the planet, our packaging is made with the environment in mind too. On top of that, 1% of our profit goes to clean water efforts around the world.
Where should I store my product and what is the shelf life?
If you are familiar with probiotics, you probably think Hyve should be stored in the fridge. But you can actually store our products at room temperature. The only thing we recommend is storing them out of direct sunlight. The shelf life is one year until the probiotics start to become less powerful.
Do you test on animals?
Never! Animals do not test on us, why should we test on them?
Where is the product made?
The product is born in Texas, bred for all and always batched in the USA!
Do the good microbes become harmful?
Nope, all good, always! After our products wear away from your surfaces, good bacteria just become less active, that is until you spray again!
How often can products be used?
Everyday! Our products are on the clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No lunch break needed, as they prefer the microbes. Use as much as you see fit. Overtime and Main Squeeze are especially good for everyday use. Drain Duty can be put on more of a two-week schedule.
Is there ever an occasion to use the product in the concentrated form? If so, where?
Main Squeeze and Overtime should always be diluted with water as they are powerful enough in that form. Drain Duty, however, is meant to be poured right from the pouch.

I see the words probiotics, microbes, microorganisms and bacteria. Are these all the same things?
Good question! Probiotics=good bacteria cultures that we are bringing to your surfaces from our products. Microbes=just a fancy word for referring to bacteria that can be good or bad and are already on your surfaces. Microorganisms=the whole party, the probiotics we bring and the microbes (good and bad) that are already on your surfaces.

Where did the name come from?
Hyve is a play on hive which means home. This product is for all of the places you call your home or hive and we wanted a name that expressed that.
